The T.E.A.M. Internship Program is a unique collaboration between California Premier Sports and Skyhawks Sports Academy, giving college students the opportunity to learn by doing while making a meaningful impact in youth sports.
Whether your interests are in Business & Sports Management, Recreation, Hospitality & Tourism Management, Coaching & Education, Communications, or Entrepreneurship, T.E.A.M. provides opportunities to explore your career path through hands-on experience, professional mentorship, leadership development, and real-world responsibilities.

Our T.E.A.M. Internship Program offers a comprehensive and immersive experience designed to equip you with the skills needed to excel in your career. The internship is structured into 4-key components.
Hands-On Teaching and Coaching
Engage directly with kids at Skyhawks programs, gaining practical experience in teaching and coaching on the field or court.
Entrepreneurial Development
Collaborate with our Owner/CEO to create a detailed business plan, covering all aspects from market analysis to financial projections.
Leadership Mastery
Learn advanced leadership techniques to inspire and influence others, enhancing your ability to lead effectively in any setting.
Comprehensive Management Training
Receive hands-on training in various management disciplines including marketing, sales, HR, and operations, preparing you for a wide range of career opportunities.
Meet your Instructor
Billy Goldstein (aka Coach Billy Bob) has built his career around a passion for youth sports, coaching, leadership, and entrepreneurship. In 2023, Billy founded California Premier Sports, a California Public Charity dedicated to promoting youth athletics and developing the next generation of passionate coaches, managers, leaders, and entrepreneurs.
The T.E.A.M. Internship Program brings that mission to life through a unique partnership between California Premier Sports and Billy’s work with Skyhawks Sports Academy and SuperTots Sports. Interns combine professional development workshops and mentorship through California Premier Sports with paid, hands-on coaching and leadership experience at Skyhawks and SuperTots programs—giving them the opportunity to learn concepts and immediately put them into practice.
While much of Billy’s professional work today focuses on management, leadership, and developing the next generation of coaches, he remains committed to staying connected to the game. He continues to pursue his passion for coaching and working directly with young athletes as a varsity high school basketball coach.
Through T.E.A.M., Billy’s goal is to share the lessons he has learned as a coach, business owner, nonprofit leader, and sports entrepreneur while helping interns develop the skills, confidence, and real-world experience needed to turn their own passion into a meaningful career.
